I have been playing a few big tournaments in poker recently. The tournment experience for me has always been a good one. On these last four tournaments the experience has been anything but good. The first tournament I busted out in the middle of the crowd because of my lack of knowledge about who I was playing. There is a type of player that always continues to beat me, this type of player is the kind who is still a beginner and does not understand what bets mean. If I raise with top pair and top kicker, there is no reason to call a high raise because you have middle pair. (more…)

2008 is a new year with new ideas for me. eServerspace which sells dedicated servers and shared hosting is making consistent growth. The company is doing well and we have some great clients who we provide service for. One area that has particularly busy for me has been application development. We have had the opportunity to work on many great projects. Some things I would like to take a little further are some of the websites I currently run. I have a few friends work on CPC/CPA promotions and it looks like an interesting field but I think the same goals can be accomplished with good traffic from niche websites. Obviously it will not be as instant of a results as CPC campaigns.
